Offering therapy services for adolescents, children, family’s and couples
I work with a range of clients that present a variety of unique circumstances. However, there is a common thread, they are not reaching their full potential.
During our initial meeting we will discuss your specific areas of concern as well as assess if we are the right client/therapist fit. From here, we will be able to create your personalize treatment plan and discuss how it can best work into your day-to-day life.
How does therapy work?
It depends on your present situation and your reasons for seeking help.
Treatment areas of expertise include:
- Anger Management
- Anxiety or Fears
- Child or Adolescent Issues
- Depression
- Parenting
- Relationship and Marriage Counseling
- Self Esteem
- Trauma and PTSD
If you are seeking diagnosis or treatment for a mental illness, therapy can help you better manage your symptoms, outbreaks, and triggers. It can also offer you increased coping skills and open your eyes to new ways of dealing with situations that you may not have been aware of before. Therapy can offer problem-solving skills, provide support, and help you work through life changes, allowing you to see your circumstances as a personal growth opportunity instead of a burden or obstacle.
Services
Psychotherapy
Individual therapy offers a safe, and confidential space for you to focus on what matters important to you and to better understand yourself and others.
Couples therapy offers the space to work on your relationship challenges, which at first can be intimidating. Facing problems head-on can help improve the health and quality of your long-term partnership
Family therapy focuses on improving the family dynamic by reducing stress and disagreements by fostering empathy, communication and understanding.
Consultation
Aside from my work as a therapist, an educator, and a certified parent coach, I love sharing my knowledge and expertise with student therapists, social service providers, and other members of the therapist community.
Supervision
I believe supervision involves receiving prompt and ongoing feedback with real life therapy challenges, instead of relying on abstract concepts from textbooks. Moreover, I can offer valuable insights into your unique style and provide guidance on refining your skills and tailoring your approach to effectively meet the diverse needs of your clients.
